Partner
Sally joined McKenzies Solicitors in 2006 and has been a partner since 2010. She has considerable experience in family law and separation matters. We know how difficult family matters can be and Sally deals with matters on a professional but sympathetic basis.
She regularly assists clients with commercial and conveyancing matters and has a wealth of specialist experience whilst acting for local businesses and lenders. She is extremely capable at dealing with all aspects of leasing or buying and selling your home or business.
Sally has significant experience in drafting wills and powers of attorneys for clients and frequently deals with executry work. She represents a broad range of clients in licensing matters and appears at Licensing Board Hearings on a regular basis. She has over 15 years of experience in dealing with personal injury claims and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
She has extensive expertise in dealing with all forms of road traffic accidents, accidents in the workplace and medical negligence claims. Sally also has considerable experience in criminal defence work, appearing regularly in the Sheriff Courts around Scotland and frequently instructing cases in the High Court.
A rugby player in her day, Sally is still a keen follower of rugby and advises the Board of her local rugby club as well as sitting on the Board of the Adam Smith Global Foundation.
She is currently Dean of the Kirkcaldy Faculty of Solicitors and enjoys watching and participating in various sports in her spare time together with organising the firm social calendar!
Consultant
Nigel has been a partner in McKenzies since 1989 and is now a consultant. He has extensive experience of dealing wit all types of litigation.
He regularly conducts both criminal and civil litigation cases in the sheriff court and has significant experience of dealing with cases in the Court of Session and High Court.
He deals with all types of criminal and civil litigation including Commercial litigation, personal injury cases, family cases and cases involving adults with incapacity.

Emily recently graduated from the University of Dundee where she completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Emily will be working within criminal and civil litigation at McKenzies having developed a keen interest in this area during her studies.
During her time at University Emily was involved in various legal research teams further developing her skills and knowledge in the field. In Emily's free time she's a dedicated dog parent and enjoys exploring new places and cooking.
